Your business is as good as the stories you tell.

Everything I do involves telling stories.  Most people I work with tell stories, too.

My Stories

  • User Experience Stories.  Sites and apps work best when they tell a story -- or multiple stories.  Your users and customers expect them, and crave the emotional connection they provide.  I start with your business goals and shape a narrative that overlays the user experience.
  • Presentations.  When I work with a team, everything I present is woven into a story.  So when I review work-in-progress with clients, they see assets in a context that's clear and compelling.  Not only does this help me communicate, it provides clients with stories they can adapt into their own.

Your Stories

  • Your Business Stories.  You know your business, you know your goals.  Is there an accompanying story that really sings?  If your stories are already well formulated, great.  If needed, I can help you shape your business goals into business stories that engage and inspire.  Either way, the stories become the core narrative of your user experiences.
  • Your Presentations.   When I present to you, it's in a form that's easily adaptable into a story you can present yourself.  In addition, if you like the way I shape stories, I can help you with any or all of your stories -- for your management, your peers, your employees.
  • Your Employees' Skills.  Many tell stories from instinct, often embellishing them with a certain flair.  That's all good.  I bring in another dimension: storytelling is also a skill that requires knowledge, technique and practice. Those who lack a storytelling gift can, with practice, develop a storytelling skill.   Do people in your organization tell their stories well?  I can help.  See my blog for more.
